Research theme and outline

Support for the establishment of a safe, reliable and sustainable water supply system

Safe and reliable water is available for drinking. In order to pass on such a society to the next generation, we are conducting research on not only the water supply system from the source to the tap, but also the ecosystem, social system, and human behavior.
(1) Research on water quality assessment and risk assessment of surface water in rivers, lakes and marshes under climate change and disasters.
(2) Research related to the reconstruction of water supply systems in disadvantaged areas and under population decline
(3) Research on sustainable management and support systems for small-scale water supply systems
