About 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Infection

2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) infection has not been confirmed as an outbreak in Japan. However, it is important that you wash your hands frequently and cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue when sneezing or coughing to protect yourself from the virus just as you do so to protect yourself from common cold or flu. You are also encouraged to take the said preventive actions when attending events that draw huge crowds. We strongly recommend everyday preventive actions to help keep the virus from spreading.

As of 12:00, Feb. 17, 59 cases have been confirmed.

According to official government reports from other counties, as of 12:00, Feb. 17, 70,914 infectious cases and 1,774 deaths were confirmed.
