Research theme and outline

Aiming to support the maintenance and improvement of citizens’ health, I am studying health literacy, which is regarded as ‘the power to decide on health’.
The aim is to enable citizens to access, understand, appraise and apply the information they need from the overflow of information appropriately in order to make better decisions, and to build communities and social capital in which citizens are objectively aware of their environment and support each other through empowerment to proactively change it.
