Research theme and outline

People-centred Healthcare and Welfare Services

We conduct research on the basis of disease areas and target population to build a high-quality healthcare and welfare services delivery system centered on people (residents and patients). We also focus on working conditions and career path of healthcare workers for sustainable human resources in healthcare and Measuring health care quality indicators & Outcomes using national administrative data. We work together with international organizations such as the OECD and WHO on these quality improvement initiatives in Japan’s healthcare and welfare then share them with people in the world through such as JICA training programs.
