Policy × Big Data × Geographic Information

Drawing on experience in policy formulation at the regional government level, I am engaged in research that bridges the gap between healthcare policy and frontline practice. My research focuses on analyzing healthcare delivery systems using big data such as medical claims and evaluating regional disparities in healthcare accessibility using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), with the aim of identifying challenges in healthcare delivery systems that become apparent in a super-aging society and during health crises. I aim to contribute to society by providing practical insights that support evidence-based policy making (EBPM).
