Research theme and outline

Learning Together with Foreign Countries

The same health problems are becoming common all over the world. The issues in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) are becoming similar to those in high-income countries. Now LMCs are facing not only infectious diseases, but also lifestyle-related diseases and medical insurance systems. Through international cooperation projects, research activities will be conducted to learn from each other about issues common to high-income countries and LMICs.

Public Health Organization and Human Resources

The studies have been conducted on securing public health human resources at public health centers in Japan, and on collaborations between public health administration and other organizations when health crisis management cases occur.
