Research theme and outline
Research on building service engineering: heat, air, and moisture transfer in buildings and its simulation techniques
It is necessary to ensure an appropriate indoor environment in buildings while taking into consideration not only the prevention of health hazards to users but also comfort and intellectual productivity. To achieve this, it is important to design, operate, and maintain buildings and air conditioning and ventilation equipment appropriately. We aim to achieve a desirable indoor environment by evaluating, analyzing, and simulating the movement of heat, air, moisture, and pollutants in various facilities, including office buildings, medical facilities, elderly care facilities, and children’s facilities.
