Department of International Health and Collaboration

The Department of International Health and Collaboration is in charge of creating systems that enable NIPH to engage in feasible and fruitful joint research projects on urgent health and medical subjects with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO); the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD); international groups such as the International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI); and overseas public health research institutes with which our Institute has entered into a partnership agreement. In particular, as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Healthcare Facility Planning and Service Delivery, we intend to be active in research on overall systems to provide healthcare services to the community. Based on the research results, we plan to hold international conferences regarding health issues in the Asian region, along with training courses for leading specialists in developing countries.

International Health and Collaboration
The Department serves as a connecting hub for international health and collaboration both inside and outside NIPH. We will contribute to the development and improvement of health policies in the global setting through in-depth cooperation and collaboration with crucial stakeholders.
